Natasha Kavanagh

Natasha Kavanagh holds both a Masters and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and holds the following Professional Memberships:

Natasha primarily utilise a Cognitive Behavoural approach, which has been proven to be effective in a wide range of issues, including Anxiety and Depression. Natasha also uses Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR); a technique found effective in the treatment of traumatic memories, addiction, anxiety and more. Natasha also has training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy and Sport Psychology.

Natasha utilises a dynamic and collaborative approach in her counselling sessions and fully explores potential strategies to achieve goals and overcome obstacles. She is known for her friendly and adaptive style to facilitative successful outcomes.

Helena Cornelius

Helena Cornelius has been working from our rooms for over a year and she has now joined our team. She has been working in Campbelltown for the better part of 20 years.

Ms Cornelius has a deep and varied experience which she draws upon in her work as a Psychologist with her clients.

Ms Cornelius specialises in Anxiety, Depression, Pregnancy Support and issues of health and ageing.

Ms Cornelius also works with VVCS, Workers’ Compensation.

History

2006: Natasha graduated with a Masters of Psychology Degree and registered as a Psychologist and commenced working in a variety of roles.

2007: Natasha started working as a Psychologist in Campbelltown.

2009: Light Bulb Moments was born. After operating out of serviced offices, LBM moved to their own premises at 5/261 Queen Street in Campbelltown.

2011: Natasha was joined by other Psychologists who commenced working out of the offices on a Part-Time basis.

2016: Light Bulb Moments changed its name to Forward Momentum Psychology Services.

2017: We added some colour to our world and Forward Momentum was launched as the business identity, replacing Light Bulb Moments.

2020-present: We worked through Covid times and adapted to new technologies. We are now almost completely paperless, having adopted various of the best apps available to provide a high quality service without compromising on security and confidentiality. We offer Telehealth through phone or our in-house software with the click of a link, as well as remotEMDR, which is described as an industry-leading EMDR platform.
